As a classically trained pastry chef, I learned early on the importance of precision and consistency in pastry and breadmaking. Improvisation isn’t usually part of the equation.
But sticking to traditional methods leaves out many people who struggle with food sensitivities like gluten and dairy.
When I created Moonflower Kitchen, I made a vow: no taste buds left behind! I began experimenting with gluten-free sourdough, vegan chocolate torte, and countless alternative baking recipes.
I started seeing results immediately. Desserts that taste AND feel good. Today, we offer a mix of both traditional bakery and inclusive options so that everyone gets a seat at the table.

Moonflower Bakery creates beautiful, thoughtful desserts that are perfect for parties, showers, weddings, and other special gatherings. Specialty cakes, cupcakes, and curated dessert displays are all crafted to match your vision, flavor preferences, and dietary needs.
Moonflower Bakery Pickup and Delivery
Moonflower Bakery is a seasonal favorite at local farmers markets (currently on winter break, but back soon!). All market offerings are gluten-free, and many are also dairy-free, vegan, or grain-free. Local delivery and market pickup are available. Orders can be placed through our Square site.
Meet Your Baker!
Baking has been a lifelong passion of mine. From early experiments in the kitchen to carefully following recipes in a well-loved Better Homes and Gardens cookbook.
That love of baking led to formal training at Johnson & Wales University in the Baking and Pastry Arts program, where I learned everything from foundational techniques to advanced sugar work.

Curiosity about the science behind baking and a passion for wellness eventually led me toward alternative baking. Creating desserts that are both satisfying and inclusive has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Moonflower is the result of years of learning, experimentation, and care, all brought to life in every batch!

Frequently Asked Bakery Questions
Yes! I’m a seasonal vendor at local farmers markets. Everything I offer at the market is gluten-free, with lots of dairy-free and vegan choices too. I’m currently on winter break but will be back when the season starts up again.
